Jean & Michelle in Ireland

A hurricane is coming into Dublin. Expected to be worst on record with sustained 85 mph winds. Everything is shutting down... schools, businesses, all flights after 1 pm have been cancelled, buses, taxi service, all stopping... and our theatre play this evening is cancelled. So, I am thankful for our comfortable hotel room with a restaurant and room service. I am thankful we still have electricity and even, for now... fast WiFi! M

Nothing but poor WiFi at the hotels we've stayed. Very frustrating! It would be fun to share pictures. The tour has also kept us going, where we fall into bed at night exhausted, which is fun, but also leaving little time to write. Today I'm headed out for horse back riding on the beach. Hopefully it won't be cancelled on account of weather, wind in this case. Having a fantastic time. Will share pictures when I can.

Charmed by Ireland from the start. Everyone we've met so far has been friendly, helpful, and accommodating, in a very genuine and unassuming way. The food is ah-mazing. Bite after bite I find myself exclaiming, "wow, this is SO GOOD." And that makes Michelle a very happy girl... :) ** Stayed last night at a hotel ( Gougane Barra Hotel) with spotty WiFi, and only in the lobby at that. So, off to a slow start to the blog.  :)
